Quality Assurance & Compliance leader

to build, implement, and oversee the quality systems that ensure our program meets DDS, MassHealth, CARF, and internal standards. This is a hands-on position in a start-up environment—ideal for someone who enjoys designing systems, auditing documentation, analyzing data, and supporting staff training while also working at a strategic level. Over time, this position may evolve as the program grows, but will remain focused on building efficient, compliance-driven systems that enable staff to focus on excellent service delivery. What you’ll do:

Develop and implement QA/CQI systems aligned with DDS 115 CMR 9.00, MassHealth Day Hab/CBDS, CARF, and program policies Create usable tools for monitoring service delivery, documentation, incident reporting, and staff training compliance Conduct internal audits; prepare for licensure, certification, and accreditation/survey reviews Track and analyze quality data and trends; prepare quarterly/annual quality reports Lead or assist with internal investigations and required reporting Train staff on compliance expectations and documentation practices Partner with leadership to support a culture of continuous improvement What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s required; Master’s in a relevant field (e.g., Human Services Administration, Quality Management, Public Administration, or Special Education) preferred. 5–7+ years in QA, compliance, or program management in human services/IDD (ideally MA DDS/MassHealth) Experience with CARF, DDS licensure, MassHealth certification preferred Strong regulatory knowledge; strong writing/documentation skills Highly organized, analytical, detail-focused; collaborative mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office; comfort with data systems/EHR Other requirements:

Valid driver’s license Suitable background checks (CORI, SORI, DCF) and fingerprinting required. CPR/AED, First Aid, and other required certifications (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with reasonable physical tasks as needed (e.g., during safety inspections or program activities). Schedule: primarily weekdays; occasional evenings/weekends as needed. Full-time (exempt), pay range $80,000- $90,000 annual. Excellent benefits.
