The HR Coordinator at Puttshack plays a key role in supporting our People Team and ensuring an exceptional team member experience from hire to exit. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, this role provides hands‑on HR administrative support to venue and corporate locations, onboarding, offboarding, HRIS data management, and associate records. The HR Coordinator will serve as a first point of contact for HR inquiries, maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency in all processes. The HR Coordinator will collaborate closely with HR team members to help foster an organized, efficient, and people‑focused workplace. You’ll help us bring our values to life by ensuring every team member interaction is handled with care and attention to detail. This is a hybrid position, requiring three (3) days on site at our Home Office in Chicago (River North), IL. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Support HR operations and processes throughout the associate lifecycle, including onboarding, associate changes, and offboarding Maintain and update associate records and HR documentation with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance Coordinate updates to associate data, including job changes, compensation adjustments, and status changes Respond to associate inquiries, providing timely and helpful support or routing to the appropriate team member Provide administrative support and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR programs and processes such as benefits enrollment, compliance initiatives, performance review cycles, etc. Manage and maintain HR systems and databases; ensure data integrity and assist with audits and reporting as needed Prepare and distribute HR communications, memos, and documents to keep associates and leaders informed Partner with cross‑functional teams to support projects or initiatives, and identify process improvements that enhance the associate experience Facilitate or support HR presentations and training sessions related to benefits, new hire orientation, and other HR policies and programs Generate and deliver ad hoc reports and data analysis for HR leadership and other stakeholders to support decision‑making and business goals Other projects or duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience:

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, and/or experience equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR Coordinator, Specialist, or Generalist capacity, including familiarity with onboarding, reporting, data entry, etc. within an HRIS and/or HCM. Highly organized and attention to detail Tech savvy with ability to troubleshoot system issues Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multi‑task and juggle multiple projects Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time to support business needs Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with ADP Workforce Now Experience in a high‑growth organization such as hospitality, retail, customer service, or similar industry. Physical Requirements:

Physical activities on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; frequent use of telephone/video conferencing and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting, up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. Travel may be required both locally and regionally and some days may include standing and walking for up to 8 hours a day.
