Job Overview
Promoting Safety Culture:
Lead the implementation of a “Good Catch / Near Miss” program and highlight top safety practices through a monthly dashboard.
HSE Training & Coaching:
Design and execute a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) training roadmap while guiding team members on various safety-related topics.
Contractor Safety Oversight:
Regularly inspect ongoing contractor activities on-site to ensure safety compliance.
Site Audits:
Conduct comprehensive HSE inspections across all Hyd sites.
Emergency Preparedness:
Develop an annual mock drill schedule based on the building’s risk level, ensuring at least two scenario-based drills each quarter.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Coordinate with stakeholders and third parties for mock drills and assessments, offer advisory support, and oversee the rollout of agreed safety solutions.
Minor Works Oversight:
Establish and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for minor projects, ensuring safety compliance by third-party contractors and vendors.
Regulatory Compliance:
Support adherence to relevant legal and safety regulations, including NBC guidelines.
Permit Review:
Evaluate Permit to Work (PTW) applications and Safe Work Method Statements.
Capex Project Assessments:
Conduct HSE risk assessments for upcoming capital expenditure projects.
Audit Coordination:
Manage third-party audits and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Incident Review:
Assess root cause analyses (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for all reported EHS incidents.
Risk Management:
Maintain and review site-specific risk registers monthly, updating mitigation strategies as needed.
Performance Monitoring:
Develop the annual HSE action plan and present performance metrics during monthly and quarterly reviews (MMRs & QMRs).
