Tax Senior Manager

to join the

SALT

team in our

National Tax

practice.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR TEAM. This position will support our National Tax Team, which in turn supports the firm’s broader tax practice. The right candidate will have a growth mindset and look for ways to expand their knowledge within both the tax space associated with their specialized services and varying industries.

They will also be eager to collaborate on thought leadership, webinars, and seminars while remaining results focused on assisting both internal and external clients in achieving their wide-ranging business goals.

YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to: As a member of the State & Local Tax team, you will report to and receive instruction from Directors and/or Partners of the Firm. The primary responsibility will be to provide property tax compliance and consulting services involving audit controversy, due diligence, tax projections, research for a diverse client base, and more. This will include broad exposure to our Renewable Energy Practice. Additionally, this role will:

Enhance your project and task management skills

Allow for personal and professional development (support and mentoring from experienced CPAs in the accounting, auditing, and tax areas of the firm)

Give you the opportunity to work collaboratively with the broader CohnReznick team in delivering the highest quality service to our clients

Allow for the ability to interact directly with our clients on a regular basis to better understand and serve their needs

Provide the opportunity to participate in industry, alumni, and community networking events.

YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have:

Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting; Master's in Tax is a plus

CPA, CMA, CMI, JD, or EA is required

Minimum of 7+ years of tax experience relating to property tax compliance and consulting

Experience in utilities, complex property, real estate, and renewable energy consulting and M&A preferred.

Proficiency in PTMS or similar property tax software

Solid experience in researching and addressing multi-stateproperty tax matters

Proven competencewith MS Office, including advanced Excel skills

Working knowledge oftaxsoftware, including CC&Hand RIA Checkpoint

Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task

Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills

Travel required - approximately 10%
