Tax Senior Manager - Sales and Use Tax (SALT) As CohnReznick grows, so do our career opportunities. We foster teams in Advisory, Assurance, and Tax services that value innovation and collaboration.

This hybrid role will support our National Tax Team and provide sales tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base.

Team members are expected to collaborate in‑person at the office an average of 3 days a week, while maintaining flexibility that supports both client and personal needs.

YOUR ROLE Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide sales tax compliance and consulting services involving audit controversy, due diligence, tax projections, research for a diverse client base, and more.

Enhance project and task management skills; manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Interact directly with clients on a regular basis to understand and serve their needs.

Collaborate with the broader CohnReznick team to deliver high‑quality service and participate in webinars, seminars, and networking events.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master’s in Tax is a plus.

CPA, CMA, CMI, JD, or EA required.

Minimum of 7+ years of progressive indirect tax experience, with a focus on U.S. sales and use tax.

Proficiency with sales tax compliance software (preferably Avalara for Accountants).

Strong experience researching and addressing multi‑state sales tax matters.

Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.

Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.

Working knowledge of tax software such as CCH and RIA Checkpoint.

Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task.

Travel required – approximately 10%.
