Cobalt Digital, Inc.
Write RTL for audio/video processing modules, network interfaces, packet processing and CPU data movement.
Work with board designers to determine FPGA pinouts.
Assist board designers in bring-up and design validation.
Work with software engineers to integrate FPGA functionality into the overall product.
Qualifications and Requirements BSEE or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience developing RTL code in Verilog and/or VHDL. Experience with Xilinx and Intel/Altera development tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent documentation skills, including module APIs for software integration and interface specifications for IP blocks.
Additional Information The ideal candidate will have previous experience designing professional‑grade audio/video equipment, including SDI interfaces, analog/digital audio interfaces, Ethernet ports, and processors. Cobalt Digital has offices in Champaign, IL; Santa Clara, CA; and Orange County, CA. Preference will be given to candidates in one of these locations, or candidates willing to relocate.
