Quality Center of Excellence (CoE) Director
plays a critical role in that mission - leading a global team focused on advancing quality excellence, process standardization, and continuous improvement.
Based in our Charlotte, North Carolina headquarters, this strategic leader will shape the future of Sealed Air’s quality systems and analytics, strengthen supplier performance, and drive best-in-class customer outcomes. The Quality CoE Director will collaborate across regions, functions, and verticals to ensure global alignment, operational discipline, and lasting business impact.
What You’ll Do
Lead with purpose:
Provide vision, direction, and leadership to the global Quality CoE team, aligning priorities with Sealed Air’s business and quality objectives.
Drive excellence:
Oversee development and optimization of global quality management systems (QMS), including ETQ, FUSION, and Dynamics, ensuring consistency, reliability, and compliance across all operations.
Transform processes:
Integrate advanced problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies: such as 8D, hour-by-hour auditing, and process transformation - to eliminate recurring quality issues and elevate performance.
Collaborate globally:
Partner with vertical quality leaders and cross-functional partners to tackle major quality challenges, align best practices, and deliver sustainable results.
Enable insight:
Lead quality data reporting and analytics to enhance visibility, drive action, and inform decision-making across the enterprise.
Develop talent:
Mentor and grow a high-performing team, building technical expertise, leadership capability, and a culture of accountability and innovation.
Strengthen supplier performance:
Oversee supplier auditing and quality assurance programs to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the supply base.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field required; Master’s preferred.
Experience:
8+ years in quality management, continuous improvement, or operational excellence roles, ideally within a manufacturing or global environment.
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead cross-functional and global teams, set clear priorities, and deliver results in a complex business setting.
Expertise:
Deep knowledge of QMS frameworks, auditing standards, and quality system integration (ETQ or equivalent platforms).
Certifications:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
