We are seeking a Developer Advocate to enhance the end-to-end experience of using Bun. This role is on-site at our office in downtown San Francisco. We do offer a relocation bonus if you move to San Francisco. Requirements
Self-motivated, high-agency : We are looking for people who are willing to fix it when using Bun is harder than it should be. When part of Bun isn't good, it should bother you. Know how to build things : Part of your job will be building things with Bun. Past experience with projects you built from scratch should form the basis of many of your opinions. Excellent communicator:
You will be expected to write content about Bun and respond to questions from people who sometimes may be confused or unhelpful. It's important you are able to foster a positive response. JavaScript experience : To be effective in this role, you must have work experience using JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Responsibilities
Advocacy and Community Engagement : Actively promote Bun in the developer community. This includes social media (Twitter, Reddit), public speaking, writing blog posts, and participating in relevant forums and discussions Integration development : Create and maintain integrations with various third-party projects on GitHub. Focus on ensuring seamless compatibility of Bun with popular frameworks and libraries Documentation and Support:
Contribute to the development of clear, comprehensive documentation. Assist in writing TypeScript types and provide support in resolving technical issues faced by the user community. Feedback Loop:
Work closely with the development team to relay feedback from users and suggest improvements. Play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of Bun based on user needs Benefits
