Role Overview: In this Medical Director position, the individual will lead by example in both medical and managerial capacities. Responsibilities include: Overseeing all clinical and patient care activities Mentoring associate veterinarians and support staff Driving medical quality and implementing best practices Collaborating with leadership to achieve operational goals Strengthening the clinic’s reputation through community engagement
Qualifications: DVM or equivalent; licensed to practice in New York 3+ years of clinical experience Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred Strong communication and leadership abilities Passion for mentorship, client education, and continuous improvement
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary starting at $180K+ (commensurate with experience) with production Signing bonus up to $100K based on experience Relocation stipend available Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage 401K with discretionary employer contributions Generous PTO and Continuing Education allowance Reimbursement for professional memberships and license fees
