The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and The Division of Hospital-Based Medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seek a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities

Be part of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine team at Lurie Children's in Chicago, joining a growing group of hospitalists. Provide clinical services at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago (Main Campus), Lurie Childrens Immediate Care Center, Northwestern Prentice Womens Hospital, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Lead and participate in hospitalist services (teaching and non-teaching), a general pediatric consulting service, and sedation for medical imaging studies. Support front-line clinical care in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU); participate in the hospital-wide Critical Assessment Team. Provide ambulatory, acute care at the Lurie Childrens Immediate Care Center and work with colleagues, residents, and learners in a family-friendly setting. Lead newborn nursery services at Prentice Womens Hospital and support front-line clinical care in the NICU. Provide pediatric consultations at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and facilitate communication with subspecialists. Participate in clinical activities across areas as part of full-time or part-time appointments; schedules may include day, night, and night-only roles and can be tailored to candidate interests. Contribute to education, quality improvement, and scholarly activities in alignment with division goals. Position Details and Qualifications

Board eligible/board certified pediatricians are invited to apply. Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship or certification is not required for this position. Academic appointments are through Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, commensurate with academic accomplishments. Start date negotiable; position remains open until filled. Qualified candidates will have a valid state medical license as MD/DO or pending. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled. The expected base pay range is $179,633-$209,480. Northwestern provides a good faith pay range and will determine final pay based on experience and qualifications. Benefits Summary
