This faculty position seeks an Endocrine Surgeon to contribute to patient care, medical education, and research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha.
Job Summary Endocrine Surgeon at UNMC, Division of Surgical Oncology. The role involves patient care, education, and research in a collaborative environment. The clinical practice focuses on thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders, including hereditary endocrine conditions. State‑of‑the‑art approaches include surgeon‑performed ultrasound, fine‑needle aspiration biopsy with reflex molecular testing, minimally invasive therapies (ethanol and radiofrequency ablation), and laparoscopic, robotic, and retroperitoneoscopic techniques.
