Psychiatrist

Description We are seeking a psychiatrist to join Iredell Health System in Statesville, North Carolina to join our team caring for patients on our inpatient unit. Potential growth to outpatient services with anticipated development of a psychiatry residency program.

Utilize advanced treatments cutting-edge therapies

Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance-use disorders

Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care

Collaborate and supervise mid-level providers to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards

Requirements Qualified candidates:

Board certified/board eligible in psychiatry

Active or eligible medical license in the NC, or ability to obtain one

Experience or strong interest in both inpatient and outpatient settings
