Save Job

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the role We are seeking a Finance & Strategy, GTM Partnerships team member to join our Finance team at Anthropic. You'll be the financial strategist behind the partnerships that extend Claude's reach—working at the intersection of financial rigor and go-to-market innovation to build, evaluate, and scale our partner ecosystem.

You’ll work closely with our Partnerships and Business Development teams to develop the financial frameworks that power our reseller programs, referral networks, ISV integrations, and systems integrator alliances. As Anthropic expands how customers access and build with Claude, you'll determine which distribution channels drive sustainable growth, how to structure partner economics that align incentives, and what success looks like across our evolving partner portfolio.

This is a foundational role on a new team—you’ll help build the playbooks, models, and metrics that will define how Anthropic approaches partnerships for years to come.

Responsibilities

Develop financial models to evaluate partnership economics across reseller, referral, ISV, and GSI relationships—analyzing revenue share structures, margin impact, and long‑term value creation.

Partner with Business Development and Partnerships teams to structure deals; serve as a thought partner on contractual terms, incentive design, and go‑to‑market strategies.

Build analytical frameworks to assess new distribution channels and partnership opportunities, providing clear recommendations on where to invest.

Create scalable processes for partner program evaluation, including deal registration economics, referral fee structures, and partner tier analysis.

Establish dashboards and reporting to track partner‑influenced revenue, program ROI, and key operational metrics.

Collaborate with Strategic Finance, FP&A, and Accounting to ensure partnership strategies align with broader financial planning and revenue recognition requirements.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience across strategic finance, go‑to‑market finance, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or investment banking.

Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to build complex financial models from scratch.

Experience evaluating or structuring partnership deals, channel programs, or distribution strategies.

Comfort working cross‑functionally with business development, partnerships, and legal teams.

Strong problem‑solving abilities and judgment to navigate ambiguous situations.

A bias toward action and experience driving outcomes in fast‑paced environments.

Passion for Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systems.
