Overview of the Knowledge Management Function Knowledge Management (KM) is one of four key pillars to the Solutions Team at L.E.K. Consulting, alongside Data & Analytics, Market Insights, and Information & Research Center. The Solutions team works together to support and enable our consulting team members to generate best‑in‑class insights for our clients. Knowledge Management is critical to capturing the best of our consulting staff’s individual and collective expertise to make it available to the broader firm. KM is focused on developing and distributing insights and frameworks for our consulting team members to leverage on casework and business development, enabling consulting teams to utilize best‑in‑class insights, approaches, and be more efficient in their work.
The Knowledge Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the firm’s ability to deliver outstanding results for our clients. Knowledge Management (KM) is critical to capture the best of our consulting staff’s individual and collective expertise and to make it available to the broader firm. The KM Coordinator will work closely with members of the KM team as well as the sector leaders and strategy personnel to help package, develop and deliver intellectual property (IP) content, which will have a direct impact on the sales, marketing, and delivery capability of the firm.
Responsibilities
Coordinate across KM team and Strategy and Ops personnel to identify sector knowledge priorities and work as a team to capture and codify materials
Identify and capture key information from case team efforts including industry insights, strategic and analytic frameworks, case examples, tools and templates
Deliver value‑added high‑touch support to case teams by providing guidance to curate best‑in‑class content and equipping case teams with relevant expertise and resource recommendations
Research and provide insights around relevant knowledge resources to answer business questions posed by case teams
Capture and process knowledge onto our global practice areas sites on the L.E.K. intranet ensuring most recent tools, templates, insights, metadata, and knowledge assets are represented and shared; identify content gaps
Harness the capabilities of AI to extract greater insight and value from firm knowledge assets
Consult with case teams on best practice IP and frameworks at case start
Help develop credentials/materials on key topics across the sector to support client development and sales & marketing efforts
Boost awareness of KM tools and resources and help staff understand knowledge sharing expectations and policies
Act as a champion for KM and promote continued enhancements in process, content, and IP best practices across the firm, as well as serving as a thought leader in developing content and data for AI tools
Collaborate with other Core Services teams to collectively provide case teams with a consolidated view of our case delivery resources
Track data and metrics around IP development and other KM activities
Create and package content and insights in a manner consistent with L.E.K.’s standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required with strong academic credentials
1+ years of experience, ideally in the professional services environment
Healthcare sector related experience a plus
Interest/experience in knowledge management
Demonstrated strategic thinker with a bias for action
Self‑starting, comfortable working autonomously while appreciating guided coaching and collaborative teaming
Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment juggling multiple priorities
Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business
Energy, enthusiasm, and drive to create a positive working relationship with the business and KM team
Strong attention to detail
Track record of high performance and follow‑through in a global organization
Strong proficiency in MS Office 365 suite
Experience with KM technologies including SharePoint and AI tools is a plus

In California, Illinois, and Massachusetts, the base salary is between $50,000 - $60,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level. L.E.K. also offers a performance bonus, profit sharing and other benefits.
