ReSource Lewiston is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator Under general supervision of Shift Supervisor, responsible for the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of the assigned equipment (excavator, front-end loader; bobcat; yard tractor, etc.). Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment (excavator, front-end loader, etc.) Unloading of inbound vehicles, stacking, storing and feeding of C&D material Loading of outbound vehicles with recycled materials and residual waste Loading main process line in-feed conveyor and shearing bulky materials for processing. Management and stockpiling of all unprocessed and processed materials. Material transportation for processing. Site maintenance and construction including ditching for erosion control and surface water collection, etc. Seasonal maintenance. Performing maintenance and light repair of company-owned or leased mobile equipment. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience with Heavy Equipment Loader/Excavator. Must have the ability to exercise good judgment, be able to focus on detail as required by the job, as well as multitask. Work in a fast pace environment, construction or recycling preferred. Mechanical background as operator – will be performing service on the equipment. Must be able to work Monday – Friday with some Saturday shifts. High school diploma or equivalent.
