To direct the programming for the camp, providing direction and supervision for the counseling staff. The program should include fun, adventure and cooperative planning, improvement of health, group living, social adjustment and enrichment of spiritual values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assume responsibility for the direct supervision and direction of all children and counseling staff. Assist in the planning and implementation of pre‑camp staff training. Assist Head Counselors in their advance planning. Keep and submit essential records via the camp secretary such as camp records, staff discipline notices, petty cash, invoices, statistics, seeker forms, etc. Evaluate ongoing programs and counseling staff. Make necessary recommendations. Provide general stimulation, guidance and supervision of assigned staff. Promote observance of the spiritual emphasis program and moral code affecting campers and staff. Assume total responsibility for camp program, personnel and facilities in the absence of the Camp Director and Divisional Youth Secretary. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to supervise staff and campers. Proven leadership and organizational skills. Ability to plan, originate, organize and carry out daily and special programs. Camp experience (at least two years, preferably with some administrative experience). Ability to exercise confidentiality. Plan and implement camp programs with the assistance of the Program Team. Schedule daily and weekly duties for program and counseling staff. Be available for camper and staff consultation. Handle discipline problems of campers and counseling staff with assistance from the Camp Director or Divisional Youth Secretary as required. Assume responsibilities for first and last day procedures to include camp assignments, medical checks and camp rules. Maintain a weekly brief. Be responsible for the spiritual welfare of the counseling staff and campers with assistance from the Divisional Youth Secretary. Organize the cleanup of camp after each session. Maintain a high standard of personal Christian living as a role model to campers and staff. Assist the Camp Director or Divisional Youth Secretary in other duties as assigned. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be 21 years or older. Possess a valid CA Driver License. Complete TSA driver safety course. Required to drive a camp vehicle. SENIORITY LEVEL
