You’ll partner with CEOs, Boards, Private Equity, and Governments to shape strategic priorities and deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities
Work on commercial issues, advising businesses on valuation matters related to acquisitions or divestitures and providing fairness opinions on transactions and restructurings. Participate in acquisition processes, assessing how intangible and financial assets will impact accounting and regulatory requirements. Regularly undertake valuations for fiscal purposes in the U.S. market and advise clients on U.S. tax valuation issues. Specialize in the valuation of intangible assets such as trademarks, brand names, core deposit intangibles, customer relationships, banking and other licenses, patents, technology and know‑how. Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business and at least 5 years of related business valuation work experience; or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related work experience. Previous Business Valuation experience. Financial modelling skills including experience building models from scratch. Demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects. Must reside in or be within commutable distance to Houston, TX. Willing to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary. Ideal Candidate Attributes
Previous valuation experience in professional services/Big 4 Firm. Financial modelling experience. Significant progress towards a CFA. ASA/AM designations are a plus with expectation of one completed designation within a given timeframe. Knowledge of how to leverage firm‑approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot. What We Offer
Competitive base salary range $121,600–$222,800 U.S. nationwide. Specific location ranges are $145,900–$253,300 for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento). Comprehensive medical, dental, pension and 401(k) plans and generous paid time off. Hybrid model: most client‑serving roles work together in person 40–60% of the time over the course of engagements.
