Now Hiring: Certified Medical Coder (Inpatient Coding)
Location:
Bronx, NY Shift:
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Training:
1–2 weeks onsite, then fully remote Pay:
$30–$39/hr Contract:
3 months with possible extension We’re seeking an experienced
Certified Medical Coder
with a strong Inpatient Coding background to join a leading healthcare organization. This role starts onsite for training and transitions to remote work once responsibilities are mastered. The Hiring Manager is flexible with training scheduling. Required Experience & Certifications CCS Certification
required EPIC
and
3M
experience required 3–4+ years
of Inpatient Coding experience (acute care preferred) Strong understanding of
ICD-10, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4 , and Encoder systems Outpatient & ED coding experience preferred Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and coding software Role Expectations Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and federal billing regulations Ability to research and resolve coding issues Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes Able to work independently with minimal supervision Experience in coder training or mentoring is a plus
