Responsibilities Develop innovative embedded and power hardware solutions for energy systems. Perform specification, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and debugging for complex circuits, electromechanical components, and assemblies. Work with high-speed digital processing, communications, sensors, relays, power protection, and conditioning subsystems. Qualifications BS/MS/PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field. Expertise in digital, mixed-signal, discrete, and/or embedded hardware design for commercial products. Experience integrating complex circuits, embedded hardware, and power electronics. Proficient in schematic capture (e.g., OrCAD) and PCB layout (e.g., Cadence Allegro). Skilled in building/testing electronics and electromechanical assemblies, troubleshooting complex systems, and using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power meters, electronic loads, etc.).
