Job Summary: The position of Full‑time Public Space Attendant at Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown involves ensuring that the public areas of the hotel are clean, welcoming, and reflective of the high standards of our property. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, responding to guest requests, and reporting maintenance issues. What you will have an opportunity to do: We are seeking a customer service professional who is passionate about hospitality, beautiful clean spaces and creating a top‑notch experience for all of our guests. This is an opportunity to combine your can‑do attitude with a passion for service. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, corridors, restrooms, and other public areas. Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces in public spaces. Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows to ensure a pristine appearance. Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and tissues in public restrooms. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing excellent customer service. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager or relevant department. Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly. Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies. Perform deep cleaning tasks in public areas as required. Participate in housekeeping meetings and training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. What are we looking for? We are looking for an individual with strong customer service skills, reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Prior experience in a hospitality or cleaning service environment is desirable but not required. Compensation: Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
