Minor Figures is a B Corp certified, plant‑based beverage company founded in 2014 with a focus on innovative, shelf‑stable cold brew products. Our Barista Oat range is sold at over 10,000 independent coffee shops worldwide and our full product line is available in thousands of stores across four continents.About the Role
This is a fast‑paced, highly autonomous position for a seasoned sales professional with deep experience in coffee, coffee‑adjacent, or CPG sales. You will drive a go‑to‑market strategy to land new accounts, increase customer loyalty, improve account retention, build distribution growth, and enhance profitability. Responsibilities include prospecting and closing new accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and partners.
The role covers on‑premise customers and new business in Northern California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in either the Bay Area, CA or Denver, CO.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Serve as the face of the Minor Figures brand in the assigned territory.
Meet all revenue and strategic business initiatives.
Drive and manage sales and distribution throughout the territory.
Prospect and engage potential new partners with a relationship‑led approach.
Conduct regular visits and develop strong relationships with existing operators and accounts.
Develop and nurture partnerships with local distributors.
Identify prospective customers and track opportunities within our CRM.
Forecast business with sales leadership and Sales Operations Analyst.
Onboard, train, and grow sales with new distributors.
Support sales and opportunities with marquee or strategic accounts as needed.
Educate, sample, and support distributor representatives and teams.
Multi‑task between priorities and map weekly routes to maximize field efforts.
Utilize Minor Figures tools to build an accurate territory pipeline and forecasts.
Participate in regular internal team calls with best practices and market insights.
Collaborate with leadership on career development and quarterly goals.
Represent Minor Figures professionally and authentically.
Maintain expertise on coffee, hospitality, and foodservice industry trends.
About the Team You’ll report to the Regional Sales Manager, Alix Walper. The sales team spans three channels: On Premise (cafe and foodservice), National Foodservice (corporate dining contracts), and Off Premise (retail grocery). The North American team is remote but works closely together.

Core Skills and Experience
Relevant sales & business development experience within the café channel.
Deep knowledge of the NorCal and Rockies geography.
An entrepreneurial mindset and deep understanding of early‑stage business.
Strong experience in developing, owning and driving market‑level KPIs at all end‑client levels.
Highly organized around project and time management.
Proficient with data tools: MS Office, Slack, Google Suite, and CRM.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements
Able to be in the field 5 days per week.
Travel overnight up to 25 % for trade shows, company meetings, or sales activities.
Reliable transportation to client locations.
Capable of moving up to 50 pounds.
