A leading Building Automation & HVAC controls provider is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Technician

to support projects across Honolulu and the surrounding islands.This role focuses on hands‑on commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of DDC/BAS systems in commercial,resort/hospitality, government, and healthcare environments throughout Oahu. This is an excellent opportunity for a controls professional who enjoys field work, complex mechanical systems,and supporting facilities with high reliability and energy performance requirements unique to island operations. Commission, service, and repair BAS/DDC systems for commercial and institutional facilities Perform point‑to‑point testing, functional verification, and equipment start‑up Troubleshoot HVAC controls, communication networks, and mechanical system operation Install and configure sensors, VAV devices, actuators, controllers, and field components Update BAS programming, graphics, and system databases as needed Support owners, engineers, and facility teams with controls‑related technical issues Document system adjustments, test results, and service recommendations Ideal Candidate

3+ years of BAS/DDC controls or HVAC controls field experience Hands‑on experience with

Tridium Niagara , Johnson Controls,on, or similar BAS platforms Strong understanding of airside/waterside HVAC equipment and control sequences Familiarity with BAS communication protocols:

BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks Ability to interpret mechanical plans, wiring diagrams, and submittals Strong communication and customer service ability, especially in hospitality and government settings Self‑sufficient technician comfortable operating independently in the field How to Apply
