Senior Donor Relations Officer

Boston Area - Remote
Salary Range:
$80,000 to $90,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience
Terrific Senior Donor Relations Officer position with an organization focused on transforming the lives of tens of thousands of the most vulnerable children. This role will collaborate with the President and CEO on major gifts fundraising. The Senior Donor Relations Officer will manage the full fundraising lifecycle for a portfolio of donors on the East Coast, with an initial focus on the Boston area.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of donors and prospects capable of giving $5,000+
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors
Foster strong relationships with donors and supporters
Develop and execute multi-year fundraising strategies
Contribute significantly to a team goal of $1.9 million annually
Expand the reach of fundraising efforts throughout the East Coast over time
Maintain donor records in Salesforce
Attend organization events, as needed
Travel to meet with donors and prospects, as needed
Qualifications:
Approximately 3 to 5+ years of major gifts fundraising experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Demonstrated track record of securing major gifts
Ability to connect with donors while conveying the organization's mission and work
Self-starter and capable of working autonomously
Driver's License required
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed, most travel will be local in the Boston area
