This is a remote position. Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Salesforce Release Manager
to lead, plan, and execute end-to-end release management activities across multiple Salesforce development streams. This role ensures seamless deployments from development to production while maintaining platform stability, quality, governance, and compliance with organizational SDLC and DevOps best practices. Key Responsibilities
Release Planning & Coordination
Manage the full Salesforce release lifecycle including planning, scheduling, and deploying changes across Sandboxes and Production. Maintain a unified, organization-wide release calendar in collaboration with Admin, Development, QA, and Business teams. Evaluate and plan for Salesforce seasonal releases (Winter, Spring, Summer) and conduct impact assessments. Deployment Management
Own and operate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Salesforce DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or Azure DevOps. Oversee Git-based version control processes including branching, pull requests, and merge strategies. Validate changes, resolve merge conflicts, and troubleshoot deployment errors. Execute deployments using Change Sets, SFDX CLI, Metadata API, or approved DevOps tools. Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years
of experience in Salesforce administration, development, or DevOps. Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, APIs, deployments, and platform architecture. Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, DevOps Center, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab. Proficiency in Git and branching strategies. Experience managing large-scale, multi-cloud Salesforce environments. Excellent communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.
