JOB SUMMARY:
Circa Hospitality Group is a fun, dynamic, fast-growing gaming, hotel/resort, and events company with properties based in the heart of downtown Las Vegas and offices located on Fremont Street.
Our fast-paced downtown Las Vegas casino properties have an immediate need for an interior designer with experience in the design/architecture field. This position is full time and offers an excellent opportunity for a creative, organized, self-motivated individual who enjoys problem solving and interacting with people at all levels of business and seeking to work in a fun, team-oriented environment.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and assist with concepts, design selections, materials, furnishings and fixtures. Obtain vendor pricing, availability and shipping information. Coordinate with trades and subcontractors such as upholsterers, millworkers and drapery manufacturers. Assist in general project administration and administrative duties as required. Coordinate with Director of Design on in-house projects and upgrades. Source, research, and meet with vendors. Maintain design department library and vendor database. Space planning using AutoCAD, Revit, or hand sketching. Preparation of presentations. Preparation of specifications for Owner supplied FF&E items with knowledge of appropriate materials, dimensions, construction methods, fire codes, and ADA code compliance. Detailed review of FF&E submittals including furniture shop drawings, light fixture shop drawings, prototypes, and finish samples. Review and respond to construction submittals including, but not limited to, lighting package submissions, plumbing fixture packages, millwork drawings, stone and tile shop drawings, and contractor supplied finishes. Respond to Construction RFI's. Maintain detailed project files including FF&E specification books, digital files, and physical samples. *Responsibilities above are examples and not solely limited to the items listed.
REQUIREMENTS:
A positive can-do attitude. Bachelor's Degree in interior design or architecture. 5+ years of experience in design/architecture. Hospitality experience preferred. Ability to work in Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp. Hand drawing/quick sketching skills. Highly organized and detail oriented with strong commitment to accuracy. Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Able to develop and present design concepts and solutions. Must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Schedule flexibility including varied hours or day travel in response to project needs. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and budgets. Understanding of industry practices, systems, processes, and activities. SALARY AND BENEFITS:
