The Manufacturing Operations Director will report directly to the President/Owner and lead a cross‑functional team to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and growth. Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute on initiatives that improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people metrics. Manage manufacturing budgets, capital expenditures, and financial performance. Drive supply chain improvements, demand planning, inventory, logistics, and S&OP processes. Partner with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to implement best practices and technology solutions. Develop and mentor a high‑performance culture focused on learning, transparency, engagement, and inclusion. Ensure compliance with food safety, OSHA, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and brand representation. Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience in paper, packaging, printing, or converting industry. 7+ years of management experience and 5+ years leading cross‑functional teams to transform operations. Strong team development, change management, facilitation, and coaching skills. PMP Project Management certification preferred; Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing certifications preferred. Proven success driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Expertise in ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative leadership style. Benefits
