Ingalls Memorial Hospital

Supply Chain Tech II , in our Linen department. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
Job Summary Responsible for distributing and issuing daily supplies, linen, mail, and incoming shipments for the entire facility. Other duties may include receiving stock and delivering to ordering units, filling linen carts, performing courier routes, as well as working directly in CPD.
Essential Job Functions
Utilize the Inventory Control System as well as the linen (Controltex) handheld computer in a timely and efficient manner.
Restock supplies in the Kanban bins, isolation carts, crash carts, and identify expired goods.
Deliver patient care supplies as needed.
Fill and deliver linen carts to the entire facility. Enter all linen transactions into the computer.
Ensure supplies are also stocked appropriately on nursing units/clean utility rooms.
Receive all items and deliver to all units in the facility.
Complete any other duties as assigned in the linen, CPD, receiving, courier, and mailroom departments.
Perform other duties assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
2‑4 years of experience in the same or closely related position, familiar with inventory control, Lawson, or similar applications.
Understanding of the inventory function in a distribution environment. Computer literacy and interpersonal skills with all levels of people within the organization.
