Bayonet Plumbing & HVAC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Plumbing Area Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our plumbing services within a designated territory.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
– Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of plumbers; foster a positive culture focused on performance, accountability, and professionalism.
Project Management
– Coordinate and schedule plumbing service projects; monitor project timelines to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Quality Assurance
– Oversee work quality and ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company policies.
Client Relationship Management
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients; address customer concerns promptly, professionally, and effectively.
Technical Expertise
– Provide advanced technical support to plumbers on complex service issues; troubleshoot problems and recommend effective solutions.
Training & Development
– Identify training needs and support ongoing skill development; facilitate training programs to improve technical and customer service capabilities.
Resource Management
– Manage inventory, tools, vehicles, and equipment to support operational needs.
Performance Evaluation
– Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions; provide constructive feedback and develop improvement plans.
Budget & Cost Control
– Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability; implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
Health & Safety Compliance
– Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations; conduct safety meetings and audits; ensure proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Proven experience as a service plumber or residential plumbing technician, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Valid plumbing license if applicable to local and state regulations.
Strong technical knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and equipment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency with project management software and digital tools.
Strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety practices.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
