Retail Service Specialist

O’Reilly Auto Parts . The Retail Service Specialist supports Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations, and may act as shift manager when required. Bilingual candidates encouraged.
Essential Job Functions
Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise store showroom customer service levels and program execution (e.g., Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
Ensure telephone calls answered according to company policy.
Process buy‑online, ship‑to‑store, hub and store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner; notify customers of shipment arrivals.
Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure, using electronic outside purchase order ledger.
Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently; issue accurate refunds and stage returned merchandise correctly.
Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
Communicate Zipline messages and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule, obtain approvals for changes, and clock in/out per policy.
Perform all store opening/closing duties: day‑end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, activating security lights, locking doors, arming/disarming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills / Education / Experience / Knowledge / Abilities
Required:
Strong communication skills; Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
Desired:
Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts; Automotive systems and repair knowledge; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
