Service Line Coordinator Cook Children's Health Care System

Location Dodson Medical Office Building, Fort Worth, Texas

Standard Weekly Hours 40 hours

Summary The Service Line Coordinator will coordinate scheduling of patients, physicians, staff, equipment, and site/space for the assigned patient population. Coordinate all necessary paperwork and orders in a timely fashion for in‑patient admission, ancillary testing and clinic patients. Participate actively in all phases of patient care.

Education & Experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.

Three years of clinical experience preferred.

Experience working with children/youth with complex medical conditions preferred.

Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.

Effective interpersonal communication.

Adept at working in a dynamic team environment.

Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Self‑motivated initiative.

Ability to plan and organize effectively.

Experience with database management.

Understanding of scoliosis preferred.

Certification / Licensure

Current license to practice nursing in the state of Texas.

BLS required.

Hours

8:00am to 4:30pm
