About the Role Patent Prosecution Partner with an active book of business in software, life sciences, medical, mechanical, or electrical.

We are a small patent boutique that does a very wide variety of patent law. Everything from licensing and portfolio development to prosecution and tech transactions.

Responsibilities

Take primary responsibility for preparing and prosecuting patent applications across diverse technical areas.

Guide clients on building and strengthening their portfolios, shaping competitive advantages, and planning long-range IP objectives.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with technology companies, founders, and research teams.

Work closely with a group of seasoned practitioners who value clear thinking, practical judgment, and thoughtful strategy.

Operate seamlessly in a remote practice supported by modern, cloud-driven tools.

Deepen existing client relationships while helping drive the continued expansion of the practice.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years dedicated to patent prosecution.

A portable practice suitable for a partner-level role, with at least $300K in existing work.

Active USPTO credentials and a technical foundation capable of supporting complex portfolios.

Demonstrated experience drafting, prosecuting, and overseeing high-quality patent matters.

The ability to excel in a virtual environment centered on senior-level execution and direct client engagement.

A business-minded approach, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to practical, client-oriented solutions.
