Position Summary INSPECTS ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, ASSEMBLIES, SUB ASSEMBLIES, COMPONENTS AND PARTS FOR DEFECTS AND CONFORMANCE TO SPECIFICATION.
Essential Job Functions
Examines outgoing units for physical defects and non-conformance to specification
Reject faulty assembly, part, or component and records type and quantity of defects
Records inspection data such as
type, and percent of defects, and rework required. Calculates percentage of defective parts
Prepares and submits DMR documentation
Works with Suppliers/Customers to resolve issues in a timely manner
Provide assistance to Production floor as needed
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High School diploma.
Basic understanding of Quality Standards (ISO/TS16949).
IPC 610 Certification or ability to achieve within 6 months.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process flow charts, and board layouts.
Problem resolution skills and root cause analysis.
Ability to use various measuring instruments effectively.
Ability to analyze and organize information into easily understood instructions.
Attention to detail.
Able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Willing to learn new skills and new technology.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to pass a background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.
Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Trade/Technical School degree desired.
3yrs or more experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe.
