VP of Government Affairs & Policy Strategy
Klaritee is expanding its public-sector alignment as we build partnerships with states, universities, and research institutions. This role establishes a clear point of leadership for government engagement and long-term policy strategy. The Vice President of Government Affairs & Policy Strategy will help the company stay aligned with policy developments, maintain strong relationships with public entities, and move responsibly as new opportunities emerge.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain professional relationships with state and local officials, agencies, and relevant organizations.
Monitor and assess policy developments, regulatory changes, and legislative activity that may affect Klaritee.
Provide leadership with timely, accurate insights and recommendations.
Coordinate Klaritee’s involvement in grant programs, public‑sector partnerships, and formal engagements.
Represent Klaritee in meetings, briefings, and discussions with policymakers and stakeholders.
Draft clear, concise summaries, briefings, and updates related to government activity.
Support long‑term strategy development for public‑sector and policy alignment.
Experience
10+ years of experience in government affairs, policy strategy, intergovernmental affairs, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience working with state and local officials or agencies.
Strong understanding of policy cycles, regulatory environments, and public‑sector operations.
Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and professionally.
High discretion, consistent judgment, and steady executive presence.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree helpful but not required.
Helpful
Familiarity with technology policy, research collaborations, or public‑sector innovation programs.
Ability to manage sensitive conversations with balance and composure.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate evolving environments.
