Base pay range $23.00/hr - $27.00/hr
Responsibilities
Open and close the store in the absence of management, including all required system start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring floor and stockroom readiness.
Manage cash registers: completing product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and providing change.
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by greeting customers, offering assistance, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
Operate store keys, assist and coach teammates with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including vendor deliveries.
Record all sales accurately, handle scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
Assist management with reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, and evaluating/displaying merchandise.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and enforce the Outdate program with team.
Handle basic department pricing and daily price changes, ensuring proper signage and regulatory compliance.
Execute bookkeeping activities such as cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments.
Support exterior and interior maintenance: ensuring clean store condition and coordinating repairs.
Assist with proper separation and rotation of food items per store policies.
Possess working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Assist at pharmacy windows and conduct bag checks for staff before store closure.
Comply with all company policies, maintain respectful relationships, and complete special assignments.
Attend training and complete required PPLs.
Communicate assigned tasks to teammates and report disciplinary issues and customer complaints.
Qualifications
One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
Consideration given to qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
