Base pay range: $23.00/hr – $27.00/hr.

Responsibilities

Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.

Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.

Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.

Assume store keys and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes.

Register all related sales on the assigned cash register, recording scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.

Assist manager or assistant manager with order exceptions, reverse logistics, and display evaluations.

Maintain accurate inventory counts, including basic departments and stockroom locations.

Follow the Outdate program and basic department pricing, ensuring proper signage and compliance with local regulations.

Assist with bookkeeping activities such as cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments as requested.

Maintain store appearance and assist with interior/exterior maintenance and repairs in management absence.

Separate food items, rotate stock using first‑in, first‑out, and place products as specified by policy.

Assist at the Pharmacy out window as requested.

Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.

Carry out bag checks of team members before leaving the store and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.

Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the Manager.

Communications

Serve as liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating tasks when management is absent.

Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

Basic Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of store inventory control.

Consideration of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
