Position Overview
Overall operation of the unit, supporting business objectives through sales focus and team development.
Strategic development of sales, costs, quality, and people basics.
Develop and promote employees to meet sales goals across all sales avenues.
Maintain highest customer service standards.
Communicate and follow-up on unit objectives with all staff until completion.
Proactively seek sales opportunities and build business relationships via calls, interactions, and driving when necessary.
Ensure safe working environment with HAACP, Board of Health protocols, and quality standards.
Develop assistant managers to handle sales, costs, quality, and people basics.
Recruit, retain, and schedule appropriately skilled staff for restaurant and catering events.
Implement strategic initiatives to positively impact the unit.
Audit internal processes and adjust to achieve operational goals.
Manage employee relations for a harmonious workplace.
Cooperate with District General Manager on issues and special projects.
Assist on the line to move operations and serve food to customers.
Handle deposits at the bank.
Position Requirements General Managers will regularly stand, walk, talk, carry, bend, stoop, turn and lift in excess of thirty-five (35) pounds. They will also drive, view a computer monitor, and type/write on a regular basis. Team lift is required for anything over twenty-five (25) pounds and/or awkward lifts.
