Staff RN - Telemetry - Full Time
Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit. The position is a 12‑hour day shift (7:00 AM‑7:30 PM) with up to $5,000 sign‑on bonus.
Responsibilities
Accountable to the unit manager and/or department director.
Adhere to nursing standards of practice and demonstrate competence in critical behaviors.
Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient; delegate care to licensed staff, unlicensed staff, and supplemental personnel as appropriate.
Promote unity and teamwork, maintain positive attitude and relationships with coworkers.
Administer IV therapy and medication with prior competency.
Participate in the organization‑wide Performance Improvement Program.
Demonstrate the organization’s values in all patient interactions.
Perform all duties assigned by manager, director, or clinical lead RN.
Qualifications
Associate degree in nursing (required). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN licensure in California (required).
ACLS certification required; BLS required.
Basic computer skills required; one year acute care experience preferred.
Registered nurse with current RN experience in telemetry preferred.
Hourly rate range: $49.86 – $76.69. Pay determined by experience, education, skills, and market factors.
