Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH), a member of
Mass General Brigham , is a full-service community teaching hospital located in
Newton, Massachusetts , just outside of
Boston . We are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Overview: We are seeking
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible
Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join our
Hospital Medicine team .
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care to adult inpatients.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Participate in admissions, discharges, and daily patient management.
Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and consulting physicians.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in
Internal Medicine
or
Family Medicine .
Eligible for medical licensure in
Massachusetts .
Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required.
Strong clinical and communication skills.
