Job Summary and Responsibilities
Virginia Mason is expanding its collaborative primary care team. We have an opportunity for a .8–1.0 FTE physician at our regional medical center in desirable Issaquah, Washington. Aspects of the Primary Care Physician Role
Team‑based approach: Each provider is part of a pod of 2–3 physicians, 1 ARNP or PA, 1 MA support, and RN support. Pods adapt quickly to team needs.
Integrative primary care model: Embedded pharmacists, social workers, and psychiatry providers collaborate to deliver coordinated, high‑quality care.
Flexible schedule options: We partner with you to develop a schedule that accommodates your individual needs.
Access to ancillary and specialty services: Referral options to over 30+ medical specialties within Virginia Mason.
Teaching opportunities: Regular precepting of medical students and residents in a teaching environment.
Learning opportunities: Formal mentorship program supports new providers for long‑term success.
Innovation: Culture promotes new approaches, best practice standards, and continual improvement with the Virginia Mason Production System.
Compensation: Competitive model with a range of $314,000–$345,000 per year.
Job Requirements
Board certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority required for practice.
