Resident District Manager - ByteDance Salary:

$145,000 - $155,000 / year

Job Summary

The Resident District Manager (RDM) for ByteDance is the primary client contact overseeing all operations of a multi‑unit, high‑volume program. The role includes Monday–Friday operations with night duties, management of a complimentary lunch and dinner program for ~2,300 employees, and a free break‑room food and beverage service. Success depends on strong client partnership, operational excellence, team leadership, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high‑performing team across a large account, ensuring exceptional service, safety, and employee engagement. Provide talent development, performance management, coaching, and succession planning.

Client Relationship: Build strong client relationships, acting as the on‑site ambassador to ensure needs are met, support client retention, and identify growth opportunities.

Operational & Compliance Oversight: Drive operational standards through transparency, accountability, education, and safety. Oversee safety, marketing, nutrition, culinary and maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and company standards. Conduct audits and maintain required reporting.

Financial Management: Own financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

District Activities: Participate in district leadership, share best practices, mitigate risks, and support diversity and community initiatives. Ensure consistent and fair administration of all policies.

Qualifications

Required : Educational minimum and relevant work experience.

Preferred :

Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of management experience in food service, hospitality, plant operations, environmental services, laundry, or related support services.

Strong background in food service operations with proven business, financial, and customer service success.

Demonstrates initiative, critical thinking, strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Champions an inclusive, professional, resilient and proactive work environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and POS software.

Occasional travel required.
