Physician Assistant – Cardiology – CommonSpirit Health – Winchester, KY

Job Summary CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group is looking to hire a Cardiology Advanced Practitioner to join our well‑established outpatient practice. The role involves working closely with physicians to ensure continuity of care for patients.

Responsibilities

Accurately assess patient conditions and document effectively to support charges and communicate with other providers.

Provide comprehensive patient assessment, including functional, mental, social and physical conditions.

Establish accurate diagnosis.

Seek consultation/supervision of physician as needed to confirm proper assessment.

Appropriately involve patients and caregivers in treatment planning.

Act as interface between clinic and other providers to ensure timely, comprehensive services for patients.

Independently develop and implement treatment plans and evaluate patient outcomes.

Communicate patient needs, care plans and problem resolution to physicians and other healthcare teams clearly.

Possess knowledge and skill to provide supervision to clinical staff as needed.

Develop and maintain policy and procedure for patient care activities.

Use process improvement skills to contribute to team development and program growth.

Understand, support, and implement the mission of the facility to deliver health care to those in need.

Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds the facility quality standards.

Ensure that patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility.

Educate patients on both clinical and managed care.

Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate.

Function as an effective clinic team member.

Meet productivity standards.

Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information.

Job Requirements

Candidacy must be appropriately licensed as an NP/PA or be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of KY.

Pay Range $42.49 - $60.25 /hour
