to oversee and expand our operations worldwide.
This is

This is an executive command post for someone who thrives in high-stakes, multi-country operations and can lead in environments where precision, diplomacy, and decisive action determine billions in outcomes.
THE ROLE: Director of Operations & Business Development (Global) The Director will be responsible for
overseeing global crude oil drilling, exploration, and mining operations , while driving new international business expansion across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North America, and emerging markets.
This role requires
extensive international travel , geopolitical awareness, and the ability to negotiate at the highest levels of government and corporate leadership.
You will be entrusted with maintaining our current multinational clients while securing new exploration rights, opening new markets, and elevating global operational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Global Operations Leadership
Oversee high-value crude oil drilling, exploration, and mining operations in 57+ countries
Direct multi-disciplinary teams working across different time zones and continents
Lead field operations, safety oversight, extraction workflow management, and large-scale project execution
Ensure compliance with international, regional, and national regulatory frameworks
Strategic Business Development
Expand international client portfolios and long-term supply contracts
Drive negotiations with government ministries, national oil companies, and private partners
Identify and acquire exploration rights, mining concessions, and high-potential drilling opportunities
Build multi-billion-dollar partnerships in new and existing markets
High-Level Government Engagement
Build and maintain diplomatic relationships with senior government officials
Lead high-stakes discussions around energy policy, concession approvals, and operational permissions
Navigate geopolitical risk, national agendas, and regulatory landscapes
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
Implement advanced operational systems for performance, safety, and extraction efficiency
Lead crisis management initiatives in high-risk regions
Ensure all global operations meet the highest standards of environmental compliance and sustainability
Reduce operational downtime and improve multi-country productivity metrics
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Only apply if you meet

of the following:
15–20+ years of senior leadership in crude oil, mining, exploration, or global energy operations
Proven track record leading multi-country teams and billion-dollar portfolios
Significant experience securing government contracts, concessions, or exploration licenses
Mastery of international negotiations, diplomacy, and high-pressure decision-making
Ability and readiness to travel internationally
60–80%
of the time
Background in petroleum engineering, mining engineering, geology, or related fields (advanced degrees preferred)
Demonstrated success scaling operations in emerging or high-risk markets
Strong financial, operational, and strategic forecasting abilities
COMPENSATION This is a
high-paying, elite executive role
with compensation reflecting the scale, risk, and global influence of the position.
