The Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Tech team is at the heart of Amazon's transportation network, supporting scalable, innovative, and cost-effective delivery operations globally. Key job responsibilities include: As a Sr SDE, you are expected to have expertise in full-stack software development, including customer-facing applications and backend services that enable efficient last-mile delivery operations. You must have the vision and technical expertise to build solutions that help DSPs and Amazon enhance vehicle safety and compliance, and optimize vehicle maintenance and utilization, thereby reducing total cost of operations. You will be responsible for the overall architecture of Last Mile Fleet tech team owned systems, ensuring the team builds the right solutions that address customer requirements and business use cases. You will make critical decisions on architectural components, technology choices, and design patterns across teams, and promote engineering best practices through design forums. You will collaborate with the SDM to adopt best practices for operational and engineering excellence and resolve disagreements by leading inclusive, constructive dialogue with team members and related teams. Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team Preferred Qualifications
