Account Executive – Amazon

Salary: $130,000-$150,000

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage Amazon end-to-end business and process from order generation to order shipping
  • Manage the brand's presence and merchandising on-site including creative, PDPs and brand store
  • Curate all assortments to optimize inventory turn, drive revenue and profitability in line with Amazon customer data
  • Analyze selling trends and promotional strategies to achieve growth
  • Curate Amazon-specific promotional strategies – Prime Day, selling days, etc.
  • Generate and analyze weekly reporting to inform all go-forward strategies
  • Achieve budget delivery for initial orders as well as management to net sales budget for the half and fiscal year
  • Instrumental in the product offering and point of view of each Amazon shop by brand and managing the brand pages
  • Develop and execute marketing and merchandising strategies, leveraging digital insights and advertising ROI to enhance visibility to all brand PDPs
  • Understand Amazon portal and compliance requirements to ensure minimal chargebacks and negotiation of exemptions year-over-year
  • Manage all POs generated for Amazon and ensure timely shipping and processing
  • Drop ship PO management and SKU offering
  • SKU management on-site and ensuring cohesive offering
  • Collect customer data from Amazon through data metrics and analysis
  • Responsible for the training, development and growth of 1 Direct Report – PO Manager/Sales Assistant to work with customer operations
  • Eventual liaison for marketing and operational agencies hired for Amazon specifically as well as the P & L
  • Expectation of aggressive YOY growth with a 3 year plan of +50% current net sales volume

Required Skills/Abilities/Education

  • 5–10 years experience in Sales or Merchandising in the wholesale fashion industry
  • 3–5 years of Amazon-specific experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Regional experience and language skills a plus
  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
