Employment Litigation Secretary
Scion Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Secretary to provide top-level administrative support to multiple litigation attorneys in a well‑established mid‑sized law firm in San Jose, CA. This is an onsite opportunity.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will manage legal documents, calendars, filings, and client files with precision and efficiency. This role requires a proactive, organized professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents including correspondence, briefs, pleadings, TOAs, and TOCs
- E‑file documents and ensure compliance with Federal and State court rules
- Maintain attorney calendars and schedule meetings, depositions, and other appointments
- Prepare expense reports, check requests, and other administrative tasks
- Coordinate and maintain client files and records
- Utilize document management systems (e.g., NetDocs) effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting multiple litigation attorneys in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word and other standard office software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with court procedures and e‑filing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate: $45–$55, commensurate with experience
