Summary
An
Office Manager
will achieve a world class Total Patient Experience that both maximizes retail sales and supports patients' medical needs. The role is responsible for the overall sales and profitability of an office location, managing all operations to include team member support, merchandising, inventory management, training, and safety. The Office Manager executes Total Patient Experience (TPE) to drive revenue and profitability and exercises independent judgment in managing overall performance of the retail operation. A Licensed Office Manager must possess a State Optician's License where required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and execute the overall sales and profitability of an individual office location through the effective execution of TPE.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with doctors and serve as liaison between doctors and the office team.
Recruit, select, train, coach, and develop team members, including coaching of KPI scorecard results.
Conduct performance reviews and compensation evaluations for the office team.
Use judgment and tools to achieve revenue and EBITDA growth.
Motivate team members with a positive and supportive communication style.
Maintain facility to corporate standards including building, equipment, parking, grounds, and safety rules, HIPAA & OSHA requirements, hazardous material handling, and waste disposal.
Monitor and enforce company cash handling policies, including petty cash, and submit required financial documents accurately and on schedule.
Execute day‑to‑day operations: team member scheduling, weekly meetings, report generation, inventory assessment, supply ordering, and training.
Qualifications
Industry‑related experience is beneficial.
Management experience required.
Favorable background check result required by state.
Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
ABO, NCLE, LDO preferred.
Licenses and Credentials
None.
Systems and Technology
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Work is primarily performed in a standard office or clinical setting; travel to other locations may be required.
Physical Requirements
Walking (75%), sitting (50%), standing (50%); bending, stooping, reaching (25–50%).
Lift, carry, push, pull up to 25 lbs.
Strong fine motor skills; full use of hands; continuous grasping, writing/typing, use of technology.
Visual and auditory acuity required 100% of the time.
Occasional driving or climbing may be necessary.
