Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Providence Mission Hospital
Location: Mission Viejo, CA. Position type: Per‑Diem, variable 10‑hour shifts. Pay: $52.84 – $83.43 per hour. National certification as a nuclear medicine technologist required.

This role supports the Nuclear Medicine Department in performing and documenting non‑invasive and invasive procedures for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients under minimal supervision. The technologist works closely with the supervising technologist and radiologist to maintain a high‑quality, efficient department, fostering teamwork and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform and document quality nuclear medicine procedures for all patient age groups.
Assist supervising technologist and radiologist in routine and complex imaging tasks.
Maintain positive relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff to promote teamwork.
Support departmental efficiency and patient safety through timely and accurate procedure performance.
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience.
Completion of required coursework and participation in a continuing education program.
National certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB, NRN, or equivalent).
National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association).
Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or imaging center setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a technologist in a hospital or imaging center setting.
