Qualifications
Strong understanding, knowledge and hands‑on experience of all store positions
At least 3 years of experience as a specialty retail store manager with relevant traffic and volume
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn additional software
Broad knowledge of the retail landscape
Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Must commit to one store closing per week, either Friday or Saturday
Ability to use retail POS system and inventory scanner
Ability to make change using American monetary units
Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex financial reports
High school diploma or GED required
Detail‑oriented with minimal supervision
Problem‑solving skills for complex situations, including difficult clients
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships
Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly through written communication
Work Environment
Lift large and heavy packages and boxes rapidly and constantly during a shift
Able to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry product for customer service, inventory restock, and merchandising
Stand/walk for extended periods of time
Lift 50 lbs. without restrictions
Perform routine store maintenance, sweep, vacuum, empty trash, and clean
Use ladders and/or step stools
Perform repetitive motions such as folding, ringing up customers, etc.
Use caution when dealing with difficult customers
Work environment is moderate to loud
Adult content environment
Must be at least 18 years old
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruit and maintain a diverse, high‑performing store team through selection, development, and motivation
Act as a true business owner, bringing timely ideas and solutions to team, peers, and cross‑functional partners to improve the customer experience
Drive daily, weekly, and monthly financial results by establishing strategic plans with the Territory Manager
Ensure accountability and appropriate management of operational procedures, financial targets, and company policy standards in store
Create and manage scheduling that maximizes staffing to meet business needs and drive profitability
Coach, mentor, and provide direction to meet store and company goals, including training and individual development plans
Monitor team progress against key initiatives and provide development opportunities through training programs
Lead by example and direct training to influence sales associate behaviors and provide an exceptional shopping experience
Conduct corrective actions and performance improvement plans for employees with issues or problematic behaviors
Ensure documentation is complete for HR regarding resignations and terminations
Maintain compliance with safety measures and OSHA regulations
Report and log work‑related injuries and worker’s compensation incidents
Create, facilitate, and present training programs and concepts to groups
Manage rest and meal break schedules to ensure all zones are covered
Assist with store security, including bag checks and fitting room monitoring
Foster a positive work environment and provide timely, honest feedback
Ensure staff are treated professionally, courteously, and respectfully
Plan and execute floor sets efficiently while following company guidelines and encouraging collaboration
Adhere to and maintain compliance with all company policies
Maintain full understanding of inventory management procedures
Cultivate open communication and teamwork among staff
Represent the company professionally and positively
Inspire and motivate the team with best practices for sales, merchandising, stocking, and inventory processes
Perform other duties as assigned
