Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Carey is looking for a strategic technology leader responsible for architecting and implementing Carey’s next-generation global digital platform — designed to deliver a seamless, unified user experience all markets, customer types, and digital channels. This role provides vision and leadership in designing a scalable, intelligent, and integrated technology ecosystem that harmonizes Carey’s customer, partner, and operational platforms into a single, consistent digital environment. The Director will shape and execute the technical blueprint for a global, experience-driven platform that supports Carey’s transformation into a data-empowered, AI-enabled mobility leader.

Responsibilities

Define and own the enterprise-wide technology architecture that supports Carey’s unified customer and operations platforms.

Lead the transformation of legacy systems into a modular, cloud-native, API-first ecosystem capable of global scalability and real-time responsiveness.

Develop the platform and infrastructure strategy that ensures consistent digital experiences across web, mobile, and partner applications.

Collaborate with Product, Data, and AI leadership to embed intelligence, automation, and personalization throughout the.

Champion a user-centric technology vision — ensuring every interaction reflects Carey’s luxury, consistent service standards.

Lead the implementation of a microservices-based, event-driven architecture to enable agility, modular growth, and regional flexibility.

Oversee the build and governance of API gateways, integration layers, and data exchange frameworks to connect systems globally.

Partner with Data Engineering to establish a centralized, AI-ready data infrastructure, enabling real-time analytics and decision-making.

Drive architectural modernization through adoption of cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and CI/CD best practices.

Lead technology governance — ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and operational excellence.

Architect and scale a global platform experience layer that delivers a consistent interface, performance, and functionality across all customer and partner touchpoints.

Oversee the development of geo‑aware, data‑driven services (such as localization, dynamic availability, and real‑time visibility) to optimize regional experiences.

Collaborate with UX/UI design leadership to translate Carey’s service principles into digitally native experiences that are intuitive, responsive, and globally uniform.

Ensure that system design supports multi‑language, multi‑currency, multi‑region, and multi‑tenant operations while maintaining high availability and responsiveness.

Partner closely with Product, Data, and Ops teams to align technology direction with Carey’s business strategy and modernization roadmap.

Translate executive vision into actionable architectural blueprints and technology roadmaps with measurable business outcomes.

Build and mentor a high‑performing team of architects, engineers, and platform specialists, fostering technical excellence and innovation.

Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, representing Carey’s digital transformation agenda across internal and external forums.

Lead collaboration with offshore and extended teams to drive Carey’s global digital transformation initiatives.

Define and enforce non‑functional standards — including performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability across systems.

Partner with the Security Office to integrate security by design principles into all layers of the technology stack.

Lead the implementation of observability frameworks — ensuring proactive monitoring, tracing, and optimization of system health.

Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to ensure Carey’s platform remains secure, innovative, and future‑ready.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required.

Master’s degree in Technology Management, Architecture, or Business Administration preferred.

12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture.

Proven experience designing and scaling global, cloud-native digital platforms across web and mobile environments.

Strong background in microservices, APIs, and real systems for customer‑centric industries (mobility, travel, or logistics preferred).

Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional modernization programs and technology transformations.

Experience integrating AI, analytics, and data-driven personalization into core platform design.

Required Skills

Expertise in architecture frameworks and modern technology paradigms (DevOps, CI/CD).

Strong understanding of front‑end architecture, system scalability, and user experience engineering.

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
