The Opportunity The Senior PMS Project Manager will expedite, manage and coordinate a multitude of interrelated Post Market Surveillance (PMS) IT project activities within constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects.
What You’ll Work On
Work with IT to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, and deliverables in consideration of PMS processes and resources.
Assess how changes to scope, issues and risks affect PMS processes, working with SMEs, department leadership, and IT to resolve them.
Measure performance to assure the project is progressing relative to the original plan and budget, communicating risks and deviations to PMS leadership.
Develop and execute a work plan to ensure all activities are performed, gather lessons learned, and obtain final project approval from PMS leadership.
Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate status and decision support information to the project team and PMS leadership.
Coordinate resources and time to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively coordinate tasks and deliverables to team members based on their abilities.
Collaborate on a cross‑functional project team of SMEs, business analysts, developers, and validation analysts to ensure alignment and compliant execution.
Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Manage projects at the department level.
Make decisions that impact projects or departments; influence or hold final decision authority for project level, budget and activities.
Business impact and risk ranging from $0 to $15 MM in business financial impact.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in a related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Minimum of 6 years experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, with at least 3 years experience managing projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with medical devices preferred.
Complaint handling or eQMS experience preferred.
